Changing habits for the better!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We’ve come to the end of my campaign with @Tenzing to bring you a series of top tips on how you can make small changes that have a big impact on your health, and the environment! Making changes that become habits are the best way to make long-term changes! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A summary of tips I’ve spoken about: ⠀⠀⠀ 1. Make exercise a habit by taking your gym kit with you to work/uni/school so you’re more likely to go straight after work as part of your routine ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. Posting this in utter fear that a caramel shortbread might possibly get more likes than little old me 😂🤗
@BAREBELLS.UK BILLIONAIRE SHORTBREAD 😍 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A hazelnut twist on my favourite sweet treat! ... who thinks I’m going to be popular at work today?? 🙋🏼♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ HOW TO MAKE: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1️⃣ Melt 40g coconut oil,l and 30g maple or golden syrup in a pan and mix with 180g ground almonds ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2️⃣ Press into a small foil tray (the bendable ones) and bake in the oven 180 for 15 mins until golden ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3️⃣ Meanwhile make the caramel: melt 50g coconut oil, 40g maple or golden syrup and 1 can condensed milk in a pan and then bring to a gentle boil for 5 minutes until the caramel turns golden. Leave to cool. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 4️⃣ If the caramel isn’t smooth (we’re not experts here! 😂 then whizz in a blender for a few mins until creamy and smooth). Leave to cool ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 5️⃣ Chop 2 @barebells.uk hazelnut nougat bars into tiny squares and once the caramel is cool, mix the squares in and pour on top the almond biscuit base! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 6️⃣ Pop in the fridge so the caramel can set and melt 100g milk chocolate and 40g @mindfulbitesuk hazelnut butter in a bowl ready to pour on top of the slices! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 7️⃣ Melt a smaller amount of white chocolate and poor into horizontal lines on the chocolate. Turn the tray the opposite way around and with a knife scour vertical lines in the white chocolate to create the pattern on the top! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Final step: make a cup of tea and share with friends! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is definitely my fav recipe so swipe RIGHT for the recipe card, SAVE this post for later and TAG me in your @barbells.uk creations! 😘 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
