A Sunday well spent 💫 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve had a full week off training this week and prioritised lots of rest to make sure I get through this cold as quickly as possible! 🤧 I know lots of you will feel guilty having time off from the gym if you’re feeling a bit ill, but if you don’t feel up to it, pushing yourself too much could actually just run you down even more! Instead I went for a long country walk around Kew and I’m feeling much better for it! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Hope everyone had a lovely weekend 💕

BEST OF BOTH @BAREBELLS.UK COOKIE DOUGH BROWNIES ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sorry I’ve been a bit MIA this week but I’ve been a bit under the weather 🤧Throwing it back to these brownies I made which went down a treat at work, gooey on the inside, chunks of hazelnut nougat @barebells.uk bars running through them and lower in sugar and fat than your regular brownie!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ TO MAKE COOKIE DOUGH:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ingredients:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - 3 scoops of vanilla protein powder - 1 cup almond flour⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - 100g @natvia natural sweetener - 2 tbsps Agave syrup (or golden/maple) - 1/2 cup almond butter⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - add vanilla @barebells.uk shakes until you get the consistency of a cookie dough ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Method 1️⃣ blend all the above in a nutribullet style mixer until cookie dough consistency (add water and sweeten as necessary) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2️⃣Add in chocolate chips once formed a sticky dough ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3️⃣ Use your hands to press the dough into the bottom of a greased baking tin (I used cake tins) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ _____________________________________ TO MAKE THE BROWNIE:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ingredients: - 100g coconut oil⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - 150g dark chocolate melted⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - 100g plain flour (can also use almond) - 50g cocao powder ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - 3 large eggs ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - 200g @natvia natural sweetener ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - 3 @barebells.uk bars of your choice to chop up and mix in as chunks ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ METHOD:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1️⃣ melt the coconut oil and chocolate in a pan and whisk in the eggs (electric mixer preferred) and whisk into the chocolate coconut mix ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2️⃣ Gently fold in the flour, cocoa powder and sugar/sweetener ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3️⃣ Leave the batter to cool before you add chunks of barebells to stop them melting ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 4️⃣ Pour on top of the cookie dough in the tin and bake for 10-15 mins until you stick a knife in the brownie and only a small amount stays on the knife⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ [Paid Partnership with @barebells.uk]
